When we offered carriage rides through the cemetery, WIBW sent their news crew out to record the event. Many thanks to WIBW and their great staff for all they do to support our community!

Historic Topeka Cemetery is located between 10th and I-70 on California. The cemetery office is 1601 10th Street, 785-233-4132. It is open from dawn to dusk daily, and the office is open 8-2, M-F.

Former board member, Lisa Sandmeyer, is acting superintendent. Lisa's lifelong career in journalism serves her well in dealing with the diverse situations that occur in managing an historic site that is also an ongoing business.
